This was so fun working on this series of pieces. I have truly enjoyed working up a design on paper and then pulling together a variety of materials to create the same vision I worked out on paper. I Love working in the missed media realm.
The problem solving aspect is so rewarding. Using modeling paste, molding tools, and acrylic paints to create the look and texture of wood or wood and adhesive cutout, paper brads, and metallic copper paint to create a doorplate. Truly enjoying this experience. I will show the progress of the other six creations within the upcoming blogs.
